We were on the Caribbean island of Dominica from February 4th to February 14th, 2024, to swim with sperm whales. Dominica is the only place in the world known to us where even amateurs, who are not scientists or journalists, are allowed to swim with sperm whales. Swimming with sperm whales is regulated by the government in Dominica and is commercialized through permits.
